Day 19: Art presentation, and wrap-up
So here's a little more explanation about yesterday:

But now that all that is over, let's focus on the here and now.
We all presented our art projects to the IHL representatives this morning.
I really enjoyed everyone else's presentations.
Here are my finished products.
Minus the surviving tile.
The project was about crossing borders.
I crossed a personal border making ceramics.
The raven is the intermediary between Odin and Midgard (Earth). This crosses the boundary between the human and the divine: the natural and the supernatural: myth and reality.
The mixed media project is the boundary between life and death, heaven and hell, order and chaos.
And between thought. word, and deed. How far are we willing to go for what we believe?
So this go round has been faster and a lot different. I feel as content as possible with what I produced. I feel a lot more confident in my ability to communicate what I've learned to others. And i'm really hoping that my web portfolio can help people. The last one I did was not at all what I envisioned this one to be, but I suppose that is part of the growth process.
Last time, I left with a lot of option overload anxiety and surface level knowledge. This time, I went a lot deeper and I can sense that.
Tomorrow, we will say our goodbyes and go our separate ways until the Fall session.
