Day 3: Cookie mining, PowerPoint, Google Earth, Field Tripping, and Finding poetry
The day began with an adventure in mining. We had to mine chocolate chips out of chocolate chip cookies using paper clips (or toothpicks).
NOT as easy as it sounds. I was way too careful because I knew i'd have to replace the "land" as best I could. Wound up $900 in the hole! Mining is NOT archaeology.
We got schooled in using PowerPoint for something other than boring slide presentations. I took careful notes. I guess.
We went over to the library again. This time, we got schooled on Google Maps and Google Earth. I've used both of those before with varying degrees of success.
Stopped by the Templeton Music Museum.
